Make a Big Change for a High Poverty School
Hello, I am a teacher in Farmersville, CA, a high poverty area that is trying to make a difference in our small town by making our schools better. Currently, I am competing for a $50,000 Pepsi Refresh Grant in attempts to replace our deteriorating playground that is over 50 years old. A challenge we are facing is that many of our families do not have computers at home and are finding it hard to vote or promote the idea. Projects with the most online votes receive funding.
