HAVANA , Cuba, Feb 7 (acn) Cuba announced on Monday the boxing team that will participate in the Bocskai Memorial Tournament, to begin on February 9, in Debrecen, Hungary. The team, coached by Rolando Acebal and captained by welterweight world champion Roniel Iglesias, includes Olympic sub champions: welterweight Carlos Banteur, middleweight Emilio Correa, and lightweight continental champion Yasniel Toledo. The national commission confirmed that flyweight Robeisis Ramirez, and cruiserweight Leinier Pertot, both leaders in the Youth Olympic Games, will also take part in the competition. Light flyweight bronze medalist Yosvani Veitia, super heavyweight Erislandy Savon, and light heavyweight Julio Cesar de la Cruz make up the rest of the team. This tournament will bring together participants from 20 nations like Russia, which will participate in all weight classes. Cruiserweight world champion Artur Beterbiyev, light flyweight David Ayrapetyan, Lightweight Albert Selimov and flyweight Misha Aloyan are some tough opponents to watch out.
