Father of a Senior Staff Reporter Ashraf Javed died…….!

LAHORE – The father of The Nation’s senior Staff Reporter Ashraf Javed died on Saturday at his paternal village in Okara. He was in his late 60s. The deceased namely Mian Muhammad Hussain, a renowned landlord of the area, had been suffering from fatal disease asthma for the last several months. The family had also taken him to a local hospital where the doctors administered him injections besides providing him necessary medical treatment. “The doctors had discharged him two weeks ago and he was also feeling better nowadays but on the day of incident his condition was quite critical,” Ashraf Javed said, adding on Saturday early noon he breathed his last due to weakness, leaving the family in grief and sorrow. The funeral prayers were offered on Saturday evening after Maghrib prayer and the deceased was laid to rest at the paternal graveyard. Later, the entire staff of both sister organizations – TheNation and Nawa-i-Waqt – Lahore Press Club General Secretary Azam Chaudhary, LPC governing body, analysts, media practitioners and others circles have expressed their grief and sorrow over the demise.

    very sad to hear Ashraf Javed’s loss. May Allah bless the departed soul in peace and grant courage to bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss.
