OTN: Frontline article on mining scam and action

Dear friends

I am raising the matter of faulty mining policy which is the secret of most of the MoUs that promises investment on paper. The hidden agenda is now no more hidden before the eyes of the public but it is still pursued strongly as the key to development who are suspected to be the beneficiaries of the day light robbery of the natural wealth of the state over which the rights of the people of the state is supreme. If the mining policy is corrected, I am sure, most of the paper companies will vanish in thin air.

There is a need to start a public movement for which I had appealed in the past and again repeat to day. Let us make this a big issue in the state by publishing leaflets, display of hoardings and holding street corner meetings to educate people on the street about the day light robbery that is going on in the state with the blessings of the people in power.

The problem with major political parties be it in the government or in the opposition, they have also their own interest to pamper the mining mafias as such, we can not expect much from them.

While our motherland continues to bleed, corrupt people are busy in queuing up before the Swiss Banks.

With best wishes
