Tahir Khan joined Online as CNE (Chief News Editor)
Friends,
I am in this profession for the past 20 years. I have served in Islamabad/Lahore as senior journalist and now working in Karachi since 2006. I express sympathy with those who left Online.
I have been told that a senior journalist from NNI Islamabad, Tahir Khan, has joined Online as CNE (Chief News Editor). I personally know Tahir Khan. Being one of the competent and senior journalists, he deserves this post. Propaganda against appointment of Tahir Khan as CNE would not be a good effort. Friends, who left Online, should raise their own problems and do not throw mud on professionals like Tahir Khan.

From Pir rooh ul Amin Khan
Tahir Khana, Best of luck to you. There will always be people who will find pleasure in criticising you, no matter what you do, but don’t let the unnecessary criticism discourage you.
Your answer should be (in the words of Amir Hamza Khan Shinwari): “Insaan yum, da fitrat pa taqazo ke na raazam, Shaheen yum, da karghano pa panjo ke na raazam…!”
Always remember: (again in the words of the Great Baba) “jahilaan di pe misaal de murdagaano, aaliman di pe misaal de maseeha.”
Abad oose….. Sheree.

Tahir Khan, one of the senior journalists in Islamabad, has joined Online as Chief News Editor. I know him for the past 15 years. He is professional, very competent and one of the few good journalists in our community.
If someone says Tahir Khan is an incompetent journalist, he/she can be biased and unfair to Tahir Khan. As far as the resignations of deputy editor and news editor Online, my sympathies are with those who have taken decisions on the basis of principle.
