Just got this email from Brad Newsham who organized the Beach Impeach actions… He’s doing another beach action this Saturday, but also mentioned that Obama would be in SF tomorrow/Tuesday… I must admit that I was somewhat embarrassed to not protest Obama last time he was here in Mountain View, but I didn’t here about his visit til he’d left…
I’m already committed this Saturday to building an altar for the Spiral Dance that will happen on Saturday Night, so I’ll miss the beach action. I still think our Trillion Dollar Notes are perfect to pass out at Obama Protests, though…

Thank you for continuing to spreading the word about Saturday.
A few minutes ago the signup counter (at humanbannersf.com) was up to 402 (not including 23 more who’ve confirmed with me, but haven’t registered). We can definitely do a worthy ” TAX THE 1 % ! ” with 530 people, and right now that looks like the message we’re leaning toward.
Yesterday afternoon I was down at the OccupySF camp, and each of the two dozen or so people I spoke with was fired up to come to the event, but I did not meet even one who was registered. The head of the Communications Team is putting it out on the OccupySF.com website. I feel confident we’ll get more than 530 people (no so confident about 10,000), and beyond that you just never know. . .
Again, if you have registered, thank you, and if you are coming, thank you, and if you can keep spreading the word, thank you, thank you, thank you.

OBAMA in SF on Tuesday
I don’t drive my cab on Tuesdays, but even if I were scheduled to work tomorrow I don’t think I’d get to park in my favorite cab line, the one in front of the W Hotel. President Obama will be the attraction for a $7,500/plate luncheon there. World Cant Wait is organizing a zero-dollar reception across the street from the W at 11:00am. I believe a large contingent from the Occupy Movement will also be there. I’m planning to be there. Join us. 11 a.m. Third and Howard Streets, just two blocks off Market Street. I think Obama’s finally trying to take some action against Republican obstructionism, and perhaps should be praised, at least for that, and perhaps in addition to protesting other things.
Just my unsolicited opinion.
